Is there any way to set Protector Suite QL to allow a Window Vista User to login ONLY by using the fingerprint scanner?

I.E. i want to eliminate the ability to sign on by clicking username at the Welcome Screen and typing user password.

In Protector Suite "System Settings", I have UNchecked "Allow to bypass logon using Windows Password" but it still permits me to login using password?

I have SZ650 and Vista Business.

You don't want to do that.
The first time your SZ boots up without the function of the fingerprint reader (which will undoubtedly happen), you'll be regretting it. Every once in a while on mine (SZ460) the reader just isn't recognized on boot up and I have to either reboot or login manually.

To answer the question, I'm personally not aware of this ability.

I find that the fingerprint reader is unreliable at times also.

You could always assign one of your toes, just in case.

I'm pretty sure this is not possible. No software designer in their right mind would add such a feature with fingerprint reader's unreliability.

If you're concerned about password strength, just use a strong password generator or combine lots of munged words, symbols and numbers... that will make it pretty darn hard to guess.

If you're still paranoid about security after that, you need to switch to a more secure platform than Windows on a laptop, I'm afraid. :(
