Has anyone else's fingerprint reader not been able to register passwords since the mozilla firefox update?![]()

Friend is using GPA2 Firefox (3.0?) and the SZ reader works fine.
Does IE work for you? -
It works with IE but not with firefox :S
-
What Protector Suite QL version are you using? The Firefox incompatibility error was fixed in version 5.6. You can download it here.
-
I'm using 5.6...I installed that though, just in case and its still not solved >___< argh!
-
What error message are you receiving? Check the Web Compatibility section in User Settings->Password Bank and see if Firefox is there and selected.
-
It would say that I'm not using IE, Gecko and some line about Windows Dialogue (Sorry, I should've typed it out). I reinstalled firefox, which solved the problem until I rebooted (then it came back). Then I went to User Settings > Password Bank, and unselected Firefox. Went back and reselected it...now it works again. I hope I don't have to do that every time though :S. It looks like I might, which stinks but maybe it'll be fixed by the next update...hopefully
Edit:Nope...restarted and it doesn't work again...>__<
I keep running into little problems....starting to develop buyer's remorse -
That's very odd... Protector Suite QL detects whether a Firefox browser is installed by checking this registry area: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\mozilla\mozilla firefox
First back up the 2.0.0.2 (en-US) key in that location by right clicking and exporting it, then delete the key and reboot. After you've rebooted, restore the backed up registry key by right clicking the registry file -> open with -> regedit, open Firefox, and see if Protector Suite QL will detect the browser. A message should pop up asking if you want to save passwords from Firefox. If it doesn't appear try rebooting again. -
Thanks but it didn't work
This laptop is just driving me a bit crazy right now
- It doesn't remember some changes that I make (i.e. telling it not to recognize the Canadian keyboard anymore, which worked until I rebooted; telling it to not do anything when I close the lid)
- The camera likes to complain that something else is using it (Even after I reboot it, and nothing is using it)
- wireless only works when the laptop is plugged in
Maybe it's the User Account Control? I"m going to try turning it off :[ -
Turning off UAC solved the fingerprint reader problem btw
