I recently bought a new TX850 and I figured I didn't really need the "fingerprint" notification part but now I regret having to type my password each time..lol..

I was wondering is there a way to set the fingerprint sensor or "change" it even after the initial(first) start-up?

    thanks!

Just swipe your finger and the program should come up.

    Nothing comes up :S

and no it's not broken cause when I go to Control panel and press the finger print icon; it works but I can't set it as a "password" login

If you don't see the option to log in with your fingerprint, you may have an old version of Protector Suite QL. Try upgrading to the latest version, v5.6.0.3326 and you will find the option in the system settings under the fingerprint control panel.

Press Windows Key + R, type appwiz.cpl, and uninstall Protector Suite QL. Then install the updated version.
