    Hey guys

My fingerprint reader on my SZ always works fine on the first firefox page, but as soon as I open a 2nd tab (CTRL+T), I cant swipe my finger to put in a password, instead, it gives me the protector suite QL menu.

any way to make the fingerprint reader work on the addition tabs?

    Thanks

    Robert

You need to load the new biometric software on your SZ. Will work fine after that. I'll look for a link for you, or you can just go to their web page.

Go to Sony Update website for your particular model

    http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/select-system.pl?DIRECTOR=DRIVER&PRODTYPE=24

and download Protector Suite QL for Windows Vista. You can install it in either Win XP or Win Vista. No problem, I tried it and it works perfectly. And I think the one from Sony is slightly more updated than the one from the link the other poster had mentioned.
