    Fingerprint sensor with IE7 and FireFox 2

    I have a couple of questions regarding with fingerprint sensor that comes with Sony SZxxx
    1. Does the sensor work with with IE 7.x and FireFox 2.x?
    2. Will there be any update for this software?
    3. If the sensor fails to recognize my fingerprint, can I still type my password to logon to my administrator account or enrolled website?

    1. Works with IE7, not sure about Firefox 2.0
    2. XP Updates are unlikely but there's sure to be a Vista update when Sony release their Vista-ready Vaio utilities and drivers in (hopefully) a few weeks.
    3. Yup, you can still use the original password for both user login in XP and on enrolled websites. So not the end of the world if you lose a finger.

    Fingerprint sensor works quite well for me, never thought I'd actually bother using it.

    Currently doesn't work in Firefox 2.0. Major bummer because that's my browser of choice.
