Are there any reviews of the AW series? I know its new so maybe not, but I really dont know when exactly it came out. I am probably going to be purchasing the AW190CTO soon. I tried searching but came up empty. Thanks.

Also can anyone tell me how thick the computer is at its thickest part? Sony's specs always seem to say they are thinner than they really are.

Sometimes the review gets translated to Notebookjournal.com

Or you can use Babelfish or Google translation.

Full review should be ready soon.

That's what I thought: they have benchmarks but did not do a full review.

    Strange indeed.

They say they actually came up with that measurement themselves? Because that is the same as what the spec says on the website, and from my experience (with my current sony) their laptops are actually thicker than the specs say.

I'm pretty sure they measure it themselves. Unless you show me a page where Sony says it weighs 3980 grams.

You're probably measuring the thickness with the feet. I think these numbers are without feet.

Sony is usually accurate, in my experience.

Oh, yeah I guess that might be my problem. When I measured mine I did it from the top of my desk to the highest part of my laptop, so that would include the feet.

Sonystyle.com lists the weight as 8.2 lbs which would be equal to 3719 grams.

How small do you guys think the text will be (considering that fact that the resolution is 1920x1080)? What will the DPI be?
