This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     First time buying a laptop

    Hi,

    I'm gonna get myself a laptop this week to replace my very old desktop.
    I was looking at the the Sony Vaio grt 915M.

    I'm mostly gonna use it for surfin, Office applications, digital photo work and some strategy gaming.

    Like I said I know little to nothing about laptops and am looking for a little advice.
