I'm new to this site so firstly i'd just like to say hello to you all :)

What I'm wondering is will I be able to fit a Blu-Ray drive into my laptop (Model VPCEB4JOE) so that I can play Blu-Ray films.

On eBay I have found this drive-
    SONY VAIO VPCEC250E BC-5500H BLU-RAY DRIVE (*3476) on eBay (end time 21-Jun-11 18:21:18 BST)

This is from an e-series the same series as mine so i'm wondering if this will be the correct fit as well as working correctly?

    Many thanks for any responses,
    Tom.

    Hi tommatt89,

That drive should work fine, most of the blu-ray drives are pretty much all the same size and will fit into any laptop computer. You might want to lookup the details for the read/write speeds for that particular model, is it 2x or 6x write speed? Doesn't seem to be much detail on the listing. Depends on your needs though. Do the research.
Also the drive in my sig will fit your laptop.

Please note also you'll have to purchase a blu-ray compatible software suite such as PowerDVD to run the Blu-ray as windows will not play it without the right software.

Hi there, many thanks for the reply it's appreciated :)

Just one more query, if I buy one is my bezel off my current one likely to fit? That's the thing that's worrying my if it doesn't just clip on

    Thanks, Tom

Just take the bezel off your old laptop drive and clip it on your new drive. As all the laptop disc drives are the.same they all have the same attachment ports. Good luck! :)
