    Hi,

    I'm trying to determine if owners of Z590s that were purchased after the win7 upgrade start date (6/26) have been able to register for Sony's upgrade program.

    Please reply or drop a note if you've tried to do this.

    If you are thinking of the COSTCO deal, I did try my laptop only to have some "come back later" msg by Sony. I took a screen capture of the COSTCO page implying it will offer an upgrade. One way or another COSTCO indicated that they will offer an upgrade on this laptop (which I considered important at the time of purchase). Given COSTCO's track record I am sure that they will work something out since I am under my 90 days when Win 7 is released.

    Can you just post it here as an attachment? I have already talked Sony into letting me have the upgrade, but a screenshot of the Costco Z590 page with the win 7 upgrade banner would be nice backup...

    Sure. I am on the road but I will post it when I get back in a few weeks (prior to the upgrade date). What did you do to convince them (or contact them) regarding the update?
