Hello, this is my first post.

I have owned my vaio for a little over a year now and I would like to switch to the 64bit version of vista business.

I've had a bear of a time getting the drivers to work.

Has anyone gotten full functionality from the hardware?

    Thanks

Yes, I am running Vista Business 64bit on my Z590.
Just grab a 64bit retail disc and load it to your Z. Use the key comes along with it.

That's the first thing I did.

When I got to the desktop I had no functionality. (wireless, ethernet, nvidia ect.) So I downloaded the drivers from the website and tried to apply them.

No dice. I get an error saying the battery is not compatible.

    Did you do an upgrade?

If you ever get the battery is not compatible problem, try one of the guides on this forum, I think this one: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=355715

Extract the Notebook Utilities, install the relevant parts they list on that page, just do not install the Battery Utility or whatever it was called.
