I have a situation which im hoping someone can assist me with. I recently spilt water over my laptop which has now been repaired but was also reformatted. Unfortunately now though i can no longer use my "F1-F12" functions for example volume. Up until this point this was OK because i could always work around these things until a few days ago when i needed to use my laptop on the projector. A colleague of mine mentioned once i have linked the cable to the laptop in to the projector (which i did) i need to press the "F7" key to active the screen/transfer.

Is this what i need to do (connect cords and press F7), or is there another way i can activate the screen/transfer. What can i do if my "F1-F12" functions are not working?

    Any assistance is much appreciated.

    Thanks
