Hi all. I just received this computer as a gift and I love almost everything about it. I have two questions so far.

First, how come I can't get it to stop changing my home page back to the sony/aol page. This is going to be my company computer and I would like to have my company page as my home page.

Second, is there any easy way to get rid of all this AOL garbage? I don't use AOL at all but there is nothing in the add/remove programs list to allow me to remove it.

    Thanks,
    TommyC.

I think there is a way to force it to not use it as your home page, explained in the long FZ owner's thread that would probably take you longer to find than doing a clean or semi-clean install. Same goes for the complete removal of AOL garbage. That's why I just gave up and did the semi-clean install. It probably only took 30 minutes or so using the hidden restore partition in the HDD -- I did have a 7200RPM HDD, but I can't imagine it takes you more than an hour to do it.

Try getting CCleaner, its free and cleans up temporary files.
It is also able to uninstal programmes, that may help.
(It'll definitely keep your temporary files in check)

I guess your going into internet options and changing the default homepage and deleted all the other ones, isn't it?
