    Hi, im really crap with computers so sorry in advance if i sound a bit dumb,

    i want to buy asony vaio laptop from the FS series and have discovered that i like the ones in the FS315 category. However, I have found that they have further subcategories ie, letters after the FS315 part eg there is FS315B, FS315E, FS315M and I would like to know what the main difference is between them and which is the best out of all the FS315 types?

    Thank you,

    i hope you can all understand me!

    a guy in Dixons told me that the FS315B is not being sold nemore n is being discontinued, does anyone know why this is?

    also, which is better the FS315B OR FS315E. is the differences b/w them really worth buying the better one seeing as i am only using the laptop for my studies, no gaming or anything, very simple needs but just want a nice laptop.

    When I recently asked an onlineshop why they don't sell the FS315H anymore they also answered me, that the FS315H are discontinued by Sony.

    I just wonder why they should do this, as the FS315H is the far most wanted of the whole FS Series (at least of what I saw) and imo has the best price/performance ratio.
    Maybe they are already planning to release a reviewed version of the FS again (FS4xx maybe ^^) which wouldn't even be so unlikely because of the CES which is in less than one month.

    The main difference is CPU-speed, Memory and HDD-size.
    The best is the FS315S afaik, but it costs about 200$/€ more than the FS315H and just has 0,1GHz faster CPU. (which is not really much for so much money)

    Google would have helped you ;)

    CES = Consumer Electronics Show
    I think the FS Series was introduced on the CES2005 at the beginning of this year, so why shouldn't they announce new FS notebooks in 2006?

    ps.: The CES06 will begin at the 6th January
