    Funtion Key not Working

    Hi mates,

    I have a problem with function key on my VAIO - VGN-NS110E model. I recently restored the full factory settings with the Recovery wizard given under the BIOS. Now my system is working properly other than that the function key is not working.
    I am able to adjust volume using the function key but nothing is displayed in the monitor. But I am not able to adjust the Brightness using the function key. Why is that so?

    If anyone can help me I would be really grateful. Please advice asap.

    Did you check that the Sony-specific drivers / programs have all been installed? E.g. compare with what the support site provides.

    reinstall the following and must be on the order I listed, and see if will resolve your issues;

    graphics driver
    sfep

    setting utility series
    sony shared library
    vaio event service
    vaio control ceenter
    vaio power management
