Can anyone help on this problem also? The green LED light on the power button glows, i'm wondering if there's a way to shut that light off, thanks.

This has been driving me crazy as well. It's like having a blinking traffic light in the room. I contacted Sony today and they said there is no way to disable it, so I guess we're out of luck unless you want to go inside and disable it yourself.

I happen to like the green lantern, but I guess that's just me being weird. :) So, there's no way of disabling it?

Put a piece of tape over it.

Have you ever used the laptop to watch a movie in a dark room with the screen on minimum brightness?

The green glow lights up the whole bottom right corner of the screen! :mad2:
