I currently have an FW31M and it's still going good after 2 years of heavy use, However for the past 2 months or so, it's been making weird noises, if it's in balanced mode it'll make a buzzing sound and if it's in high performance then a high pitched noise. I've tried cleaning out the fan with a compressed air can but that doesn't seem to work. Not sure what it could be..any input would be of great help :)

Fan bearings are worn out perhaps. With an SZ i had years ago, i had to 'oil' the fan bearings (probably not recommended). With my Z which i have had for about 2 years now, i can detect a change in noise pitch as well.
