    Hi,

    Does anyone knowif Vaio AR series is good for gaming?
    if not, what company makes good 17" gaming laptops with blu-ray drives?
    PS. preferably sold within the UAE, Middle East.

    Dell offers BluRay for their XPS M1710 notebooks.

    The Sony Vaio AR series can be configured with the Go7600 graphics card, which can play most games out there at high/medium settings.

    My AR21S can easily handle games like GTR2, FEAR and World of Warcraft on High settings, the screen res is also a big plus for these games. Running them with high detail on a 1900x1200 looks amazing.
