Why are you asking the same question in every forum? It's abundantly clear that the M170 is the laptop for you...

Maybe I would like to seeif there is another laptop out there! If I want to ask why can't I? I thought this was what it was for! By the way, I will probably end up getting the M170, because of the high performance, but still, I don't see why I can't ask, i dont ask it twice in the same forum(Sony, Toshiba, Hardware, Dell, etc,) so what is the big deal?

Here, take my advice. Your only choices are Dell and the boutique gaming rigs like Sager and co. Nobody else offers the level of performance you are looking for because they don't cater to the gaming audience.

I'm not being rude or anything. You can ask in the manufacturer specific forums, but these are more geared towards very specific questions, preferably for people who already own a product made by XXX. Your question is much, much better asked in the Hardware forum rather than spreading it all over.

People in consumer recommendation forums also really appreciate it if you do a little research before hand. Having even a cursory knowledge of the products that are offered saves my time, your time, and other people's time. This is what you should do.

    1) List out all the manufacturers you are interested in.
    2) Go to each site and find their flagship models.
    3) Study those models, take down some notes.
    4) Compare those models side by side and see which suit you best.
5a) Do a sanity check on major reviews sites like CNET, PCMAG, etc.
5b) THEN, come to the forums and ask "Is X laptop better than Y laptop? Here are my needs"
    6) From that, you will pick up on things like reliability, build quality, satisfaction, support, the intangibles that specs can't tell you.

That's the sort of thread that's appropriate. It does take time, but if you want better responses, you have to put a little effort into your research and be more specific about your needs, what weight/size you tolerate, your budget, etc.

I've been here for over a year, and I can definitely say that the most satisfied people always do their homework first, ask specific questions, and return a week or two later being very satisfied with their purchase. Do the same, and I'll guarantee that you'll feel the same way.
