Can someone recommend some games that run acceptable on a TZ? I play peggle, but have nothing to tide me over until Peggle 2. Games like that run perfectly. What other games are you guys playing that install and play fine? I saw another thread recommending some C&C games, but that was a while ago. What about puzzle games or SimCity and such?

A quick search reveals graphics media accelerator 950.
Some fun light games would be:
The sims, tomb raider 3\4, sim city 4 should run well too :)

More along the lines of c&c, try rome: total war or the age of empires series.

There should be demo's for some these which should give you an idea :)

I'm looking forward to Monkey Island 2 (using SCUMM) on my TZ, when I get it. :)

That probably dates me quite badly. Ah well.

Is AoE like C&C? I wonder if the newer C&C's would work, I haven't played it since the very first 2 entries in the series.

I've also been able to connect a Gamebridge to my Vaio TZ150 and play console games on it. I have 2 GB of RAM and a 1.06 GHz processor, and I'm able to play Super Smash Bros Brawl on the Wii smoothly, using the TZ as a screen.

So, I tried C&C 3 and the demo bombed when I tried to load the campaign. Now, the catch here is that I'm sure the demo isn't updated, but the game is. Could I possibly run this if I buy it? Because if it doesn't run, I won't be able to return it.

On a more positive note, I tried GameTap and after modifying some settings, it worked ok. I was able to play some old arcade games, but the real test will be Psychonauts. If that runs, I'll be impressed, it's an older game, so I think i'll be ok, especially while under the GameTap wrapper.

Demo's are usually only optimised for gaming cards so it should run on the lowest settings :)
