A check in the gaming forum didn't turn up anything so this may be an SZ or Go7400 issue.

Has anyone had success running Dreamfall: The Longest Journey 2 on their SZ?

While the intro screens work, the game screens are corrupted (e.g. dreamfallproblem7ly.png). While I've heard this could be a driver issue, I'm looking for more info since it may be difficult to use different drivers for the SZ.

    Any comments are appreciated.

not all mobile card drivers are optimized for gaming, and not all games support them. Some of my games have problems too: far cry(textures far too bright), gta: Vice City(won't start) and KoTor(screen black). You might want to try to update your drivers.

Have you tried using different drivers on your SZ? You can obtain drivers from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com

You need to read the instructions on how to make it work but this way you can use different driver revisions then just what Sony provides... which is like 1 or 2.

Personally I use 84.56 but I don't really play games on my SZ.

    thanks for the responses...

funny thing is that the game works using the GMA integrated card. The resolution has to be lower and GMA won't drive an external monitor, but it still works and can run on normal settings. Interesting that the Go7400 card won't work with the mainstream drivers.

    Anyways, I'll look into www.laptopvideo2go.com

Actually all mobile video cards (Go series) do not work with mainstream drivers if no modifications are done. (The ones released by Nvidia for desktop use)

However if the INF files are modified we can use just about all driver versions, including just about all mainstream drivers. And thats what the website I mentioned lets us do.
