Can anyone tell me which one is better?

Currently I am using Toshiba M30 that come with GeForce Go 5200 64MB Dedicated. I just wonder if I buy the new Sony Vaio S380 that come with Go 6200 TC, will this model graphics for 3D Games like Fifa soccer better than my Toshiba? and how much is the improvement? [?]

It'll run a lot faster than the GeForce Go 5200, but don't expect Fifa 2005 to run great with the Go 6200 Turbocache. My guess? You might be able to run it @ 1024x768 low-med detail and 800x600 high detail. Sorry, since I don't have either with me right now so I can't tell you anything more specific.

edit: If you live in Canada, I'd recommend the Toshiba M40-JM3(http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&dept=0&sku_id=0665000FS10056519&catid=22495&newdeptid=1). Futureshop's selling it only for $1899.99 Canadian now. Or, if you live anywhere in Asia, check out the Asus W3V (http://pc11.flashecom.com/startech/system_dept.asp?dept_id=SD-024. It's supposed to be available for sale in a week or two in North America however. Either way, don't get the M380. Other than the Sony brand, nothing justifies it's premium cost.

Thanks for the reply. I like the Asus W3 but that one is shared graphics, i think even worst? So you very sure the Go 6200 Turbo Charge from Sony S380 will be better than my Toshiba M30 Go 5200?

I do consider Asus V6000 series also is lighter than Toshiba M40. only 2.3KG and the Graphics is Radeon X600.But the stock not available yet.

OH thanks! thats great if Asus W3 come with Radeon X600! Not sure in Singapore can get it? I think my Toshiba M30 is Geforce Force FX 5200. It is acceptable to play Fifa 2005 when the setting is 1024x768 in Normal Details.

One more doubt. Is the Radeon X600 much better than Radeon 9700? In terms of Video, 3D?
