I got a new F115 and it flies. Great desktop replacement.

    1) I know other laptops have programs for their CPU's mhz auto-regulation, is this the case with the mobile i7's (ie 720QM)? Or do the intel i7's do this at the hardware level without an OS based application?

    2) If I use Viao update and windows update, should I be confident that I have all of the latest drivers?

    Thanks!

    1. I'm pretty it is hardware level on throttling.

    2. No, Sony is HORRIBLE at updates, you MIGHT get one or two updates, that's it. Microsoft seems to be similar, they are mostly just making sure you have A working driver, not the latest.

ATI, Nvidia Drivers are both outdated on MS Driver updates.
