    Hello,

I already forwarded a request to Sony's Parts team (they also sell the Vaio Z's 900p and 1080p panel), to see if they seperately sell the 900p panel of the Vaio SA. I'm also asking if anyone knows what it is? I'll update this thread upon finding out.

    Thank you!
    -Jeremy

    Maybe later.

Maybe if you got the part number it'd be much easier to order?

I recall when the SB came out a lot of people bought it thinking they'd get the higher res SA screen down the road. Down the road has now occurred and I haven't seen a single person talk about it.

I was trying to get a part number directly from Sony :( I was hoping to go ebay hunting...

I didn't realize Sony made the S 2011 series into a higher end line :p I'm almost ashamed to admit, but I fell in love with this machine at Best Buy... When my m11xr2 broke, I didn't have time (work + school), so I bought something I knew I would like.

Maybe someone else on this forum who likes to tinker around with their electronics will disassemble their SA to give you the part number. (or maybe you can find out the part number from within the OS)
