Get $$$ back if you bought an F or L w/ blu ray

Sonystyle's sale this week is a free blu-ray read upgrade for CTO: L all in one, F 3D, and last gen F series computers which is a $70 value. If you recently placed an order for any of these three machines with a blu-ray read or BD RE drive, you can call Sony Shop at (1-877-865-7669) and ask for a credit. I just called and although I didn't get the full $70 back, I got a $50 credit. No need to be mean or demanding, I just asked very politely and the agent was able to give me a partial credit after she checked with a supervisor.

Note: My computer hasn't shipped yet, it's still being made so this may affect the refund giving process. Last year a few weeks after I received my CTO Z, there was some $50 sale going on and I was unable to get a partial refund because they said they don't give discounts on CTO computers. (but I asked through email, I think asking through the phone is much more effective) So basically your mileage may vary, but it doesn't hurt to try if you have 20 minutes free during the day.
