    I have a PCG-TR3A that has Windows XP Home. I would like to do a fresh install of XP so that I can give it to my girlfriend.

    How do I go about getting an OEM Disc of XP Home from Sony?

    Can I call Sony Support and simply request it, similar to what you can do with Dell?

    didn't you get a a recovery disc when you brought that vaio? if you didn't, you might need to pay for it when you request from sony.

    I know you can get the recovery cds from Sony, but you will not be able to get any kind of OEM cds from Sony. They will deny your request.
