Good evening. I'm kind of new to the forums but have found some pretty good resources so far. Currently, I am considering going from an AW125 to an F115 and was curious as to what changes I'd see.

I don't think I'll mind the 5400 hard drive switch, as I probably don't do much on here that would really demonstrate the difference. If anyone has used both series Vaios with similar setups, how noticeable is the change in GPU? I mainly play World of Warcraft and am expecting the difference in performance to be marginal, but would like to get a second opinion. Also, is this buzzing noise a hit or miss issue? Thanks in advance for the help.

My notebook (equiv. of the FW4 series) is good enough to play Fallout 3 at 1920x1080 on high settings and AAx2. Given that WoW is playable on GMA945, and that the F115 you are looking at has better hardware than the FW4 series, I'm sure it will be more than sufficient for playing WoW.

One change you will see is an increase in mobility. The AW series is huuuge (but that doesn't mean F is small ;) )

Haha, very true about the mobility. Though that's one thing I will miss from my AW, just the mammoth factor. :p

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I love this computer. The size is part of its charm, haha. My only thing is, if this rumored A series is indeed true, I probably can't afford it. :(

AW to the F ? No way. AW to the speculative A ? It had better be real good.

I love the Sony AW, I consider it the FW's big brother.

My main thing is that I want the stupid light up keys and a slightly better graphics card. I'm not a big multimedia junkie, so the screen size isn't too big an issue. I'm looking to spend in the $1,500 range for the time being. If this A is a huge thing as they're saying, I wonder if I'd even be able to afford it!
