    I called today regarding my SR CTO configuration which I ordered on the 16th of July (2 days after official release)

    I ordered it with the:

    ATI HD3470 graphics card

    Night Black color


    The representative did an in depth check on the status and she said it has been built and is in the last stages of touch ups and tests.

    She stated: "It should ship soon. Perhaps tomorrow but likely next week on the 28th, which also happened to be the estimated date. So everything is on schedule."

    Seeing how you’re from California it should not take long to get there from San Diego.

    what does your sonystyle online status say? does it still say processing? also, have you already been charged the full amount?

    It still says processing on sonystyle, I mentioned that to the rep. and that is why she did a call to the building center to get more details. I did not get charged yet since the laptop didn't ship yet.

    i called as well. the sony rep said my laptop would probably ship 7/28 and i'd get it by 8/1. My order information on sonystyle says processing and estimated ship date 7/28. Doesn't look like i'll get it any early but 8/1 is still good.
