The cheapest place I've found to get a Sony SZ is on the Sony Style website, where I can get the cheapest model (which is good enough for me) for £1000. Are there any sites or shops in the UK that have a better deal than this?

The £1000 SZ is no longer on Sony's site. Have you used Technoworld before? If so are they any good? I can't find them on resellerratings.com.

My Vaio arrived :D :D! I ordered it from Comet, £1080 for the Vaio and express shipping. I told them to deliver it to my work on Tuesday the 18th. At 8:10am this morning a Comet van showed up outside the office and delivered my notebook. As this is my first laptop I will probably be too "nice" about it, but it really is a thing of beauty! I can't believe something so light can run HL2 on high settings...on battery power! Still need to clear the bloatware, but that's a problem for another day.
