Did not replace the Gobi300 card.

Did regedit HKLM and replaced Sprint,ATT with Verizon.
    Changed to CDMA
Went through the Vaio mobile broadband setup.
Signed up for 15 minutes of Verizon.

    Success.

Now all I need to do is transfer my account from the Z1.

    No more AT&T!!!! :D

Did you have to call Verizon or anything?

Not at first. Did the 15 minute pay plan. I'm cancelling it now and transfering my existing account.

The mobile broadband takes you to a Verizon/Sony page that sets you up.

    It worked within 10 minutes.

    Happy Camper :D

Oh I had to install VZ access manager. Got that from Verizon's website. Make sure it installs in the location shown in regedit.

i also did, just download VZaccess from verizon there is a new one for Z2x, then call verizon if you do not want a 2 years contract. they have a 59.99/5GB + $35(you can waive this).

    good luck guys.
