Finally made a decision and bought a Sony s360 yesterday from Circuit City. It was $1450 after rebate. Best Buy also had it for this price; unadvertised. Please note, I believe these stores are cleaning out their inventory on this model to make way for the s460. Three Best Buys in my area did not have it in stock and would not be getting it any more. Their website doesn't even have it listed either. So, if you're on the fence for this one, get it now while you still can. [8D]

At those prices the 360 is a FANTASTIC machine- makes a good computer great

Yeah, that sounds like a great deal. I also noticed that the S360's are disappearing on the web. I'm still deciding between the S360 and an Asus w3v. I think I'd like to get the S360, but only if I can get the port replicator to connect with an LCD/TV monitor.
On the Sony website, the port replicator is only listed for the S380. It's described as accomodating a "higher voltage for the new S notebook platform."
Does anyone know if the port replicator for the S series is compatible with the S360, or only the S380?

When I saw the price at Circuit City, I was about to spring for it too. It's got basically everything I want, though unfortunately I don't see it available in any stores in my area. I'd have to order it through the mail.
Any word about when the S460 will be available? I saw the product on Amazon.com but it doesn't list a date expected. -
Wow... circuitcity.com is now offering a $400 rebate off the S360. This seems to put a crimp in my plans to wait for a newer model, with the price now at $1349 plus tax.
Got my s360!
