Hi I'm a Young student and im just about to buy a sony FS315B for myself can anyone tell me if the graphic card in it (Intel graphics media accelerator 900 with 128mb max) will support Counter strike 1.6 because it doesnt take much to play this game and is it true that the card is that bad? im only gonna be doing some light gaming.

You shouldnt have problem playing cs 1.6. Afterall, you dont need intense 3d graphic card for that game anyhow :)

I would really try to get a dedicated card if you plan to play games. You will be able to play CS 1.6 on the GMA900, but nothing any more intense than that. There are some FS models with dedicated cards, give those a look.

Ah ok. Have you looked into a Dell Inspiron 6000? You can get a dedicated X300 graphics card in it.

There certainly are other notebooks besides Sony with good GPUs.

if u r just doing light gaming.. then integrated gfx will do fine. But to be future proof at least get something like ati x300 or the nvidia 6200/6400
just to be on the safe side..
