    I have spent all morning at computer stores looking for graphics cards for my laptop. do they even sell those? where is a good place to get one from, what kind is the best?

    You can't upgrade a laptop GPU like a desktop one. First thing first, what laptop exactly do you have and what GPU is present in it.

    If it's integrated then you're most probably stock with it. If it's a graphic card, there MAY be possibilities of changing GPU but choice will be very limited and it's a bit more complicated thaan swaping graphic cards in a desktop.

    You need a MXM slot to change videocard in a laptop.
