So I finally downgraded my VGN NR498E to XP. Dual Core 2 Duo 3 gigs of ram. Got it for 700 flat new. But. Wireless is not functioning and need drivers for it. Tried the sony support site from UK and doesn't work. Ethernet works perfectly.

Click on properties, identify what wifi card it is, download the appropriate drivers directly from the vendor.

For example: if it is Intel, try the Intel drivers.

I would strongly recommend to identify the card in the device manager before installing a driver.

If it is 4965AGN then use that link.
