Anyone has detail on how to upgrade CPU / processor on Sony FS series? I currently have FS with 1.8ghz centrino and wondering what latest/fastest CPU I can upgrade. Can I upgrade this with core2 duo?

The FS series used the Pentium M series, so your only options to upgrade are going to be single core processors. It really isn't worth any price as the performance difference will be minimal, the upgrade process expensive and difficult, and you'll void the warranty on the notebook.

As Greg said, it probably wouldn't be worth it. However, if you really wanted to do it, you'd need to know exactly what processor and socket you have now. Download CPUz and run it, it will tell you what Pentium-M revision you have, and what processor socket your motherboard has.
