    Guys, how would open up a file type "application/octet-stream?

    guys, I am trying to view images that my freind sent me via email and the application type is "application/octet-stream. how would I view those images.None of the softwares I already have opening it up.

    i have had this happen before. usually, you can right-click and use a whatever program you would use to open images. however, sometimes it doesn't work, and you have to get your friend to resend the image, but the image cannot be open when he/she sends it.
