    HD output to LCD

    Afternoon

    Hopefully someone can advise as to where im going wrong!

    I have an AW series laptop and a Philips HDTV 720P not the full1080p, what seems to be the problem is that when i plug my hd cable into my laptop and then into the LCD the picture dosent display correctley and I have to drag windows off screen on my laptop to display on the HD telly

    Any ideas how to correct this and get it to show whats on my laptop on the lcd?

    Your computer is set to expand the desktop onto the TV. If you want to just use the TV as your monitor, you need to go into your display properties and set it to have the TV as your main monitor and uncheck extend my display onto this monitor. Then, unless it does it automatically, set your resolution to 1366x7xx. That is the native resolution of 720p.

    when u connect laptop to your 720 TV hdmi icon on taskbar (right) will apear an you 've got to set it on 720p and set in nvidia control panel mirroring...
