I am trying to partition my HDD on Sony EB, but for some wired reason it says that I can not resize to the size I want. (using Windows Disk Management)
Do I have to reinstall windows 7, in order to be able to resize my HDD or there are other ways of handling this issue? a partition program?

    Any suggestions?

Windows Disk Mangler will not let you resize partitions marked as system or boot.

You can boot a Fedora 12 LiveDVD and use gparted to resize the Windows partition. Note, however, that you must not move the rescue partition or move the start of the Windows partition. Only move the end, to make room for new partitions.

After doing this, Windows will run a file system repair on the next boot. This is normal.
