    I have a VPCCW26FX.
I just plugged my laptop into my TV via HDMI and I get video. For some reason the max resolution it will go to is 720p while my TV supports 1080p.

Also there is no sound. No sound device is detected in playback devices. What am I doing wrong here? Are the drivers not mature enough? Or is there supposed to be no sound?

edit: I think the problem here is the TV. It's an LG and windows 7 doesn't detect it. I tried on another TV and it works fine. I can't seem to find drivers. Now what?
