I've bought a brand new Sony Vaio E series SVE14A15FGW two days ago.

After back home i checked on the sounds, webcam, USB ports , wifi connection all was just fine. Of course i do checked part of the hardware and software at the outlet where i bought. When i'm changing my background wallpaper i found that there's a white spot or bright spot ( whatever it called) on the screen. At first i tough was dust or dirt but it just on the screen. It's looks more obvious when the color changed to black and red.
The next morning i phoned to the outlet to asked the problem i'm facing, they said they would contact to Sony Malaysia Customer Services to fix my problem. But what they answered me was they willing to refund me RM200 without service the LCD screen! That's terrible! I spend RM3099 for the new laptop and now it appear the manufacturing carelessness ! What i want now is replace a new laptop cause i found the spot within 24hours! the service center said that they will repair the LCD if there's more than 7 white spots! It's terrible! At the point of view of customer or consumers that's totally not fair for us. Sony guarantee that will replace another new laptop for me in conditions before a week of purchased date rather than repair for me. After that they say they will try their best to REPAIR but not REPLACE!!!!
So what can i do now?! Can anyone help me?????

That is Sony's faulty pixel policy. More information can be found here:

I think many other manufacturers have a similar policy. I have one bright (blue) pixel on my Vaio. What you may be able to do is return the laptop to the shop you bought it from for a full refund. You can then purchase a new model and hopefully that won't have a dead pixel. -
they (the outlet) said this is due to manufacturers problems. so now they trow the problems to sony Malaysia.
HELP!!!! Sony Malaysia Customer Services provides bad services
