    HOTKEY and SWITCHER

    i have a s170 and i did a clean install. i got all the drivers working except for the hotkey and the switcher. its really annoying cus when i do ctrl+alt+ delete, the programs are running. also, in msconfig they are there, but they just dont work. i cant get my LCD brightness down when im on battery and i cant switch on blue tooth...knowing that i went to the sony site and usedtheir drivers and the back up dvd, is there anything i can do?

    sorry i can't help you with the Clean install issue. However, I did a semi-restore and the Hotkey and Switcher are working fine. Consider a semi-restore, it gets rid of most of bloatware anyways.

    i would just do an install off the restore dvd, but every time i do it, everytime it gets to install windows, it freezes then gives a blue screen for a fraction of a second and restarts. its done it everytime ive tried. ive did it originally with teh restore and it worked, but i dont know whats going on now. when it did get to install the last time, it kept saying that the video card was causing an error that made the computer look like it was in safe mode then restart. So if anyone knows whats going on there, help me out
