    Hi everyone!

I'm in a bit of an odd position. I'm guessing others here have had a similar experience. I'm attempting to fit this laptop into my daily routine. I can't find a bag that protects, properly fits, or has a sense of style...and the battery life is weak. Plus, it's heavy. But, it has a great screen, hard drive space, etcetera. So, I'm trying to see what this laptop is really best for, considering its pros and cons.

Model I've got is: VGN-AR150G. I got it so I could do heavy-duty graphics work (Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash) and/or light gaming (COH, WOW, LOTRO). I'm wondering what the benefits of this computer are against, say, the SZ line. Or, any other line.

I wanna know how mine stacks up against others for daily use, happiness, etc.

Is the AR best for its screen only? What in the world would be its advantage over another Vaio line?

What have people used this model of laptop for?

And, I wanna know how *your* laptop makes your life easier, readers....whatever model you have. Whether you have one just like mine or otherwise. I'd like to hear your model's ins and outs. Please let me know how it's worked for you.

@BoltJames, the things you would share on a public forum.

I don't know if my SZ makes my life any easier, but it is definitely a step up from my old HP Desktop. Plenty of ram for all my applications(iTunes, Gmail, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Firefox etc) I also like the idea of having a computer for vacations :)

I travel a fair amount for work and I need some release. Hey, better than straying. I also love having the little TX so I can watch DVDs and bust out some work on the tiny tray tables when I get stuck in coach. I also have high speed mobile connection through my Blackberry so I can connect in just about any urban locale and it fits perfectly in my Tumi briefcase. I upgraded from a fairly large HP machine and the small size makes it incredibly convenient.

Highly offensive? Apparently masturbation is highly offensive. Is this site run by the religious right or something? Sheesh!

I am a college student and I cannot live without my SZ. I take it to school everyday and use it to take notes in class and also to write allmy papers and powerpoint presentations etc...

I also take it with me on vacation. Love the fact that it is so light yet powerful.

My SZ travels with me to and from work everyday ---- I use it for similar tasks (Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc) along with standard word processing/office apps. I'll also play the occasional game on it in addition to internet stuffs.

It's super nice having an extremely portable laptop with all the pretty powerful features of the SZ. The AR seems like a good machine too, but the portability of the SZ is definitely a big draw for that line... for me, anyway. ;)
