    Hacking the base camera in a SZ lappy???

    Any possible way to hack the camera on the SZ models that comes with it? I want to put in a 1.3 megapixel camera on the SZ. :eek: Would probably take one from a Dell XPS 1210... hehehe... :D
    I know this sounds crazy but it might be posssible. Oh and I jsut got my SZ... :)

    if you got the premium i don't think its possible. They had enough trouble custom designing their existing cam to fit in the 4 mm screen.

    The SZ is using a CMOS based webcam, IMO , all cmos based webcam look crap in comparison to the CCD ones.

    Not really, the cheap cmos do look bad but keep in mind that the most expensive SLR work with cmos chips. And my HDV camcorder (Sony HC1) works with cmos ones too delivering great results. CCD is mainstream, cmos can be found at the low and top end of the scale!
