    hey,

I just sold my sony vaio F24, i was happy about it but needed money. It was relativily quiet but not silent. Is the Vaio E better ?

    So far im thinking :

    Intel® CoreTM i3-2370M, 2.4GHz
Windows® 7 Édition Familiale Premium authentique
    500 Go Serial ATA (5400 t/min)
    4 Go 1333 MHz DDR3-SDRAM
    Lecteur DVD
    LCD 43,8cm 1920x1080 + webcam
    AMD Radeon(TM) HD 7650M 1Go

would that be enough for multitasking ?

ie: playing poker + watching tvshows in 720p/bluray + firefox + skype + messenger and so on

My vaio F was fine but it had an i5 though i can upgrade the vaio E with an i5 too...

Oh and what are the main difference between a F and a E ? I cant really understand. The E have a 17inch, the F has 16.4 but apart that i can have the same specs aint i ?

Also, i still have my sata 3 SSD and 4go ram left so i'll add that to the E if i take it

E is cheaper construction, lower build quality, cheaper screen, cheaper keyboard, etc.

Don't know about fan noise on the E. The Vaio F has a "thermal control strategy" setting in the VAIO Control Center which you could have set to "silent" for quieter running.
