    Hi,
I've bought my second laptop few days ago from Amazon.com. It is Sony Vaio SVT14122CXS. It has a hybrid storage system with 500GB SATA HDD and 24GB SSD. The screenshot of the storage distribution is given below:
    Untitled (2).jpg

It shows from 24GB of SSD 8GB is being used for OEM Partition and the rest 14.35GB is free. The windows system files are installed in the SATA HDD.
My question is, isn't the windows supposed to be installed in the SSD for faster start-up and wake up? If not then what is the use of the SSD in this new Hybrid Storage system?
My another question is about creating back up. Can I create the back up of my windows and Driver software in an external DVD and delete the OEM Partition?

Please help me with my questions.
    Thanks in advance.
