    Hello everyone....I need help

The problem is, I ran McAfee's online free scan. Before running I have 20GB free disk space, but after running disk is full. My system has Norton antivirus software, I disabled it before running McAfee's online free scan to avoid the conflict.

I contacted McAfee for the issue..but they are least interested because I don't have a account. If I have a account why I will use online free scan? .

My system information : Sony vaio VGN-N320E, OS : Vista 32bit. System recovery is disabled, not working.

how can scanning your files do anything like that?
are you sure you don't have any viruses that's eating your space?
    mcafee doesn't do that.
did u try the windows clean up?

Even I was surprised with that, no virus is bothering me till that time, only problem is IE is re-direct to some other site if you left it for some time. May be some adware is causing this....my Norton couldn't find this, so I tried with McAfee.

I tried disk clean utility and fragment as well. I tried to scan with my Norton after that 'no virus found' is the result.

I feel, McAfee has engaged some space to scan but didn't released(or freed) space after the scan.
