    Hey guys,

I was looking at the new SR590 with the large capacity battery. Does it get close to the 8 hrs battery life as advertised?

    Thanks,

My experience with the SR490 has been about half the advertised which for me ends up being about 3 hours with standard battery. Haven't heard anyone around here say that the SR590 does any better or "fixes" anything with regard to battery drain since Sony does not acknowledge that there is a problem to begin with.
