Does anyone know the proper way of doing a clean install on the SR yet, like what programs/drivers are useless, and in what order to reinstall the necessary stuff?

I tried it once before, but my laptop ended up not being able to turn on correctly, likely due to the fact that I did not install the drivers in proper sequence.

By the way, does anyone know what is considered a fast boot-up time? MY SR has 4 GB of ram and a 2.4 processor, and it takes about 10-12 bars before the password screen loads up, and then another 30-45 seconds before my computer is completely booted on. So the complete boot up time for my laptop normally takes around 80-90 seconds.

as far as boot up. After installing all my programs and uninstalling unneed ones. I got around a 25 second bootup to password screen, then about another 20-30 to get everything loaded and ready to go.

this was with my previous SR:

4 gb RAM, 2.4 CPU, ATI GPU, 160 GB hdd
