I have the FZ290, and am wondering if anyone has used a portable power pack to charge their Vaio?

That is the one that I am looking at...it doesn't really mention if it is effective for laptops or not. I wouldn't want to buy it if it didn't last very long, or if there was any risk of doing damage to my computer.

yay nice typo I did for the title of this thread

10Wh seems a bit low.
-
I think these should be able to supply enough power for notebook (as they stated it).
-
70-80 Wh is about as large as a large capacity for sony vaio fz series (BPL9) dont know how large the other models are. however these batteries are not well on the mobile-side, at 1kg.

Thanks for the suggestions =) I have heard mixed things, all the way from they work well to only about an hour. I have an FZ, so hopefully they will last about as long as a large capacity battery.

yeah the larger ones, ones that kanthai suggested will run for quite some time (large capacity battery BPL9 gives like 2.5 - 8 hrs as sony stated).
the small ones you asked for may run for an hour only with the lowest performance, screen etc i guess (whatever settings that will enable large capacity to run 8 hrs that is)
Has anyone tried the a mobile power pack?
