This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I am yet to recieve my keyboard protector skin I bought from e-bay. I've had the lappy for 2 months, how long have u had urs to notice the fade?

    Be careful that some of those keyboard protectors will dampen the keys when they bounced back and as a result, you will get rrrepeateed characters when you type. The Cooskin Keyboard Protector I bought has this problem. I bought another model and doesn't have the problem.

    However, it is less transparent and seems to attract more dirt. But your keyboard is still covered and protected underneath.
