I have a vaio fz430e that I have been so psyched on. It's been having some probs lately tho:

    1. when it starts up it says "C:\windows\system32\urqOIaya.dll - specified module could not be found"
    2. the icons sporadically disappear (menu bar, everything but desktop backround) and I have to ctl alt del and log out and back in for them to come back

My searching leads me to say virus but my virus scan (norton) has some stuff quarantined and can't find anything else
Spyware found something but claimed to have gotten rid of it

Everything I found on the icon topic said Explorer was crashing, so I figured the easiest thing to do was get rid of it (use Firefox mostly) but I couldn't find it in the add/remove progs list.

Tried a dll fix prog that claimed to be "free" but was not

Could it be AIM? sometimes it fires up and other times it's just not there, it's real buggy.

Anyone's help or input is greatly appreciated.

    What should I do?

Try the registry cleaner from wise cleaner.
    (Just type into google)

    Sometimes they resolve grave errors.

Only problem is some software doesn't like them (HP scvansoftware for one)

From personal experience I can say that Microsoft Office products are not affected (will work fine) after repairing the registry.
(No guarantee from my side though)

You might also wan't to use the disk cleaner...

(The free versions off course, just by the way ;) )

    I think its www.wisecleaner.com ....
